We are currently on the look-out for an experienced Packaging Machinery Technician to support our regional sites in Far North Queensland.


Based at our Innisfail FNQ site, this hands-on position (including forklift work) will see you playing a key role in maintaining our machinery to world's best practice standards; using your innovative skills to maximise productivity through effective engineering solutions; project managing new installations and relocations to meet customer and business requirements; and working closely with customers and internal sales.

As this role will be to support the FNQ region, there is an expectation that some travel to other sites in Mareeba, Bundaberg and Yatala will need to occur.

In order to be considered for this fantastic, technically enthralling role - you must be a self-starter with:

  • tertiary qualifications in electrical and/or mechanical
- the ability to turn concepts into safe designs efficiently
- a successful track record of improving machine reliability
- knowledge and experience in electrical, pneumatics, hydraulic systems and general engineering methods
- experience in PLC programming and drives
- experience using Seimens, Allen Bradley, Omron Systems and other common brands
- valid Forklift licence
- the ability to work flexible hours; travel regularly and at short notice (drivers licence essential)
- an understanding of the packaging industry - preferrable
