Advance Thinking are a boutique consultancy with a great network of clients across many industries.


On behalf of our Financial Services client, we're currently looking for a Change Manager who can lead operational and organisational change aligned to implementation of the Lending Transformation Program (NextGen, Broker Aggregator and FMS Phase 2 projects), Office Move, and any additional allocated projects.


Key Accountabilities:


  • Lead change for a range of projects, including but not limited to, Lending Transformation Program (NextGen, Broker Aggregator and FMS Phase 2 projects), Office Move.
  • Develop and implement change management strategies and plans to support the adoption of change management techniques within the business
  • Confirm key deliverables for designated projects and change initiatives and define success metrics for change management performance
  • Develop an understanding of company's structures and work processes to identify the highest impact areas requiring change support
  • Partner with Project Managers and relevant stakeholders to develop and integrate change management strategies, plans and activities into current or future projects or change initiatives
  • Liaise with relevant business stakeholders to define value, estimate risk, scope timeframes, and prioritise requirements.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Plan the implementation of and identify the degree of change management required for the successful delivery of specified projects
  • Conduct an impact analysis, assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders for changes
  • Develop and implement change management strategies to support the adoption of change management techniques within the business
  • Work with project resources and People and Culture to identify the change impact to roles brought about by implementation of assigned projects.
  • Work closely with Lending Capability Trainer to identify training needs to ensure staff are ready for system/process implementation.
  • Complete postproject reviews to ensure project benefits are realised and that the effectiveness of change management is evaluated and utilised to support continuous improvement.
  • Identify, analyse and prepare risk mitigation tactics in accordance with risk management frameworks.
  • Operate as a trusted advisor to the Chief Information Officer, the business and the leadership team.

Qualifications and Experience:


  • Significant experience working with change management, including strong knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing an informal team, developing productive relationships and influencing a variety of stakeholders across the business.
  • Demonstrated experience in interpreting and analysing current and future state requirements and influencing solutions and outcomes in accordance with organisational strategies.
  • Tertiary qualification in Business Management or an alternative equivalent, with emphasis on change or strategic management.
  • A proven capability of working with third party providers to design and deliver solutions.

Skill Requirements:


  • Strong stakeholder management skills with a proven ability to build collaborative partnerships, influence decision making, engender confidence with senior management, and negotiate key outcomes with diplomacy and reliability.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and active listening skills.
  • Critical thinking and problemsolving skills.
  • Advanced time management skills.
  • Highly organised with attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated resilience and tenacity, including an ability to exercise flexibility and adaptability when working with ambiguity.
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong and productive relationships with industry providers, including vendors or supplies, and other key stakeholders to influence project outcomes and move towards a common vision or goal.
  • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle.
