Our client is a global market leader with strong roots in Western Australia. They provide a broad range of bespoke solutions to improve the efficiency and safety of mine sites. Through their tailored solutions, they are able to harness data, analyse and present critical information to tier 1 mining organisations. Following exciting growth plans, they are now seeking a Field Service Technician to join their team in Perth.
As Field Service Technician, you will report directly into the Service Manager and will repair, install, configure, commission and support electronic, microprocessorbased systems and radio communications equipment including issue identification and resolution for equipment based on mine sites

Key duties include:

To ensure technology solutions at client mine sites operate effectively and deliver tangible value to their mining operations.
To provide training, instruction, and advice to customers on the effective use and operation of bespoke technology solutions

Qualifications/ Knowledge and skill

To be successful in this role, you will have experience in on site installation, system configuration, commissioning, troubleshooting and repair. You will ideally have a background in industries such as electronics, radio, television, automotive, mining, or similar.
Substantial demonstrated experience in supporting, diagnosing, and troubleshooting diverse and varied environments with a focus on electronic / electrical repairs.
Excellent communication skills
Driven and proactive
Trade certificate or equivalent in Electronics, Industrial Electronics, Instrumentation Communications
Strong mining background
Able to work autonomously to secure personal and business objectives
