Description

Dental assistant/reception cover - 4 days a week.

A great opportunity has now opened for someone with an amazing personality, who really enjoys engaging with people, shows empathy and has a caring nature.

Our newly renovated practice is vibrant, modern and located in Roselands Shopping Centre with direct access to the car park.

We are seeking someone who has strong work ethics, is reliable and trustworthy with a "can do" attitude.

Dental reception and assisting experience required with a minimum of two years clinical dental assisting experience private practice in Australia.

Clean and efficient infection control to ADA standards

High attention to detail

Ability to clean and sterilise instruments and equipment efficiently

Stock control within the surgery

Polite, respectful and professional behaviour towards patients and staff

Understanding of Dental4Windows an advantage or likeminded software

Ability and willingness to work in a team

Self driven but are willing to follow instructions with a positive attitude

Applicants without dental experience or computer literacy will not be considered

Your key responsibilities:

Dental assisting

and sterilisation

Stock control and liaising with supply companies
Greeting patients and providing the highest quality of patience care and customer service
Processing payments, health fund insurance payments (HICAPS), PRODA claims, green/yellow voucher submissions etc.
Assisting other team members
Cleaning duties
Corresponding with dental laboratories, specialists and dentists and actioning appropriately, and correct allocation of lab and component costs
Reporting to management
