  • Western Diagnostic Pathology is part of Healius' Pathology division, one of Australia's leading providers of private medical laboratory and pathology services. We operate about 100 medical laboratories and 2,000 patient collection centres across metropolitan, regional and remote Australia. Each year, we provide one in every three pathology services in Australia, extending from exclusively servicing some of Australia's largest and most complex private and public hospitals to small and remote Australian Aboriginal communities.
    About the role
  • We are seeking an individual who is highly motivated to become part of a passionate and engaged team.
Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:

  • Picking and packing of stock orders in a timely manner
  • Assist to maintain stores area by ensuring adequate supplies are available
  • Assist in regular stocktaking program
  • Maintain clean and efficient work areas

About you

  • To be considered for this position, you will need to have a great blend of skills, including:
  • A desire to work in a busy warehouse in picking and packing and/or storage of goods
  • Attention to detail and strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
  • Commitment to maintain, and adhere to, safety guidelines in the workplace
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as in a group environment
  • Physically able to lift up to 10 kilograms with an acute awareness of safe warehouse practices to handle cartons of various sizes and lifting heavy weights
  • A current full (unrestricted) driver licence is required
  • A forklift licence is considered advantageous
  • Qualifications in warehousing, storage or distribution is considered advantageous
