Assistant in Nursing - Dialysis
About the job:
We are seeking a part time AIN that will work 8hr shifts each Saturday.
You will be trained to work alongside the dialysis nursing team to assist with basic nursing care but also in dialysis care.
This will include organising consumables ready for treatments, setting up dialysis machines, monitoring of patients under RN supervision and assisting with the completion of dialysis treatments.
You will be working with a dynamic team who support each other and provide excellent care to their patients. Within the role you will have the support of senior nursing staff.Where you will be working:
You will be joining a highly skilled and motivated team at the Raymond Terrace Dialysis Unit who love what they do and are proud of the care that they deliver.
The Dialysis unit has 8 chairs and is part of the network of Dialysis units under the John Hunter Hospital Department of Nephrology.

About you:
We are looking for highly motivated Assistants in Nursing who have a passion for teamwork. Personal qualities of honesty, good work ethic and a positive outlook are highly sort after.
Additional Information:
- Certificate III Assistant in Nursing or currently enrolled in an undergraduate Registered Nursing degree (completion of first year and first semester or trimester of second year) or have equivalent experience.
- Must be available to work Saturdays.
