_POSITION OVERVIEW_
Hudson Jones is on the lookout for an experienced Trainer and Assessor to join our clients team in Queensland. The role involves facilitating a variety of rail infrastructure safety training and induction courses. We're searching for someone who's not only passionate and self-motivated but also has a strong focus on compliance.

Effective communication with the students is key, and we value individuals who maintain a goal-driven attitude towards achieving quality outcomes without compromise.


_KEY RESPONSIBILITIES_

  • Facilitating Cert II and Cert III Rail inductions, rail operations, and various related short courses.
  • Evaluate the skills, knowledge, and abilities of trainees through various assessment methods, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Create and update training materials, including presentations, manuals, and assessment tools, to ensure they align with current regulations and best practices.
  • Keep abreast of industry developments, changes in regulations, and emerging trends in rail infrastructure to ensure training materials and methods remain current and effective.
  • Maintain accurate records of training sessions, assessments, and trainees progress to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organisational standards.

_ESSENTIAL CRITERIA_

  • Minimum 5 years recent experience in Rail operations, rail infrastructure training, or relevant work on the Queensland Rail Network.
  • Cert II or III in Rail Infrastructure
  • Hold a current driver's license with your own reliable transport.
  • Hold Cert IV TAE40116, or TAE40110 with TAEASS502A and TAELLN411, along with a demonstrated professional development log.
  • Proficient with computers and technology.
  • Ability to work autonomously when required.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to undertake professional development activities as required.
