As TNT and FedEx officially joined forces on 25 May 2016 this role will support both FedEx and TNT businesses within Australia.

About the Role
Ensure all company vehicles are clean and maintained in line with FedEx vehicle fleet policy. Assist in workshop activities including fleet and depot maintenance.

Maintain the cleanliness of the fleet by the way of washing and cleaning all vehicles as instructed.
Operate and maintain the wash bay in line with manufacturers operating instructions.
Perform safety inspections on designated equipment in use and raise any safety concerns or damage to relevant staff.
Perform general inspections on vehicles and raise any concerns on vehicle damage and suspected unroadworthiness.
Maintain documentation and records on depot items that fall under the control of GSE Fleet and in line with authority, industry standards and company policies.
Support the workshop in coordination of fleet movement.
Support workshop in maintaining cleanliness and presentation.
Provide advice to manager on all aspects of fleet condition.
Contribute to systems, procedural and service improvements.
Assist fellow employees and managers as requested.

Experience

Mechanical aptitude/workshop/ fleet experience
Minimum HC licence
Forklift licence
Being able to operate machinery and have a willingness to learn new equipment.
