A large government agency is seeking a

Power BI Support Officer for a

12 month contract. The Power BI Support Officer will be focused on

contributing to the day-to-day administration of Power BI services.

Key Responsbilities:

Support Power BI end users.
Communicate release and update of features to end users and other service stakeholders.
Document processes, procedures, and knowledge articles related to the Power BI service.
Manage user permission and grant access in accordance with business rules.
Diagnose, triage, and resolve Power BI related issues.
Actively participate in the maintenance and management of Power BI platform tenancies and environments.
Liaise with technical areas and project teams to collaboratively deliver outcomes.

Essential Requirements:

Technical knowledge and experience in the administration and development of Power BI Services in an enterprise environment.
Demonstrated experience in leveraging Power BI to develop data visualisation and reporting solutions, including design, and support of SQLbased data integrations/transformations.
Demonstrated experience or aptitude necessary to manage workspaces, datasets, and gateway connections on Power BI.
Analytical thinking and problemsolving skills suitable to anticipate and resolve incidents and problems related to Power BI solutions and data sources.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Highly Desired:

Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or a related field.
Possessing an Infrastructure Technology Information Library (ITIL) Foundation Certificate or experience working in an ITIL environment.
Experience working in a service desk or enduser support role.
