As an Energy Specialist you will handle all incoming customer calls across areas - Customer Service, Sales, Credit etc.

Also do the back end work, investigations in case of complaints and calls back customers with any follow up requests and resolutions as needed so basically inbound and outbound however no cold calling.


Responsibilities:


  • Communicating with customers to understand their energy usage needs
  • Providing advice and guidance on ways to reduce energy consumption and costs
  • Managing customer accounts and resolving billing inquiries and disputes
  • Negotiating payment plans and payment schedules
  • Demonstrating empathy and understanding to build rapport with customers
  • Recording and tracking all customer interactions
  • Adhering to all company policies and procedures
  • Promoting and selling energy products and services

Requirements:


  • Excellent voice and communication skills
  • High level of customer centricity
  • Ability to engage in conversations with customers
  • Strong negotiation and sales skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ownership of resolution and ability to take initiative
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent timemanagement and organizational skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with energy products and services is a plus
