Our client is an industry leader offering reliable, safe and professional services across residential, commercial, hospitality, manufacturing and industrial markets.


Due to growth, we have an opportunity to join their team in newly created roles as Regional Customer Service Credit Officer.

Reporting directly to the Regional Business Controller, you will provide customer support to clients regarding accounts and managing their outstanding debts.


The role:


  • Responsible for an large accounts receivable ledger, or a number of accounts receivable ledgers
  • Daily following up of outstanding debtors invoices
  • Registering Credit Issues
  • End of month debtors statements
  • Liaising with Key Internal and External stakeholders
  • Capturing bank account receipts for customers payments received
  • Data entry into accounting system on a timely basis.
  • Collection of money by way of telephone and reminder / overdue notices
  • To answer accounts queries and to provide accurate information to customers in relation to their accounts financial status
  • Reconcile customer accounts and assist Customer Service in resolution of disputed accounts
  • Sending of correspondence to customers where required in the collection process of outstanding invoices
  • Production of stop service list and associated data entry
  • Provide quality administration support to the business;
  • Ensure behaviours are consistent to enhance the team environment
  • Assist others to meet business objectives when required
  • Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, statutory obligations and company policies
  • Any other duties assigned by Management that might arise from time to time

What we're looking for:

- minimum 2 years experience in a similar role

  • Self-Motivated and organised individual that strives to excel targets
  • Commitment to the delivery of exceptional customer service
  • Demonstrated client liaison skills, with clear and positive phone manner.
  • Sound oral, written, communication skills
  • Fast and accurate data entry skills
  • Ability to use computers, Microsoft package and quickly learn new systems
  • Commitment to assisting in meeting relevant branch targets and Key Performance Indicators
  • Act honestly and with integrity at all times
  • Accept responsibility and be accountable for action
  • Create a participative team environment
  • Communicate openly and honestly at all times
