About the role

The Program Officer - Large Energy User (LEU) Electrification Program will work with the Project Lead to deliver project outcomes that support the Victorian Government's emissions reduction policies such as the Gas Substitution Roadmap, the Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) program) & Net Zero Emissions by 2045.The role will be required to support the development, management and delivery of multiple projects and funding agreements (contracts) with project partners to meet milestone payment schedules and due dates.

About you

The Program Officer will use their capabilities in business engagement, grants administration, cross government coordination and ability to build relationships quickly to support delivery of the LEU Program.

You will be required to work to critical timelines to achieve results.


Specialist skills/knowledge:


  • A tertiary qualification in related fields
  • Knowledge of the Large Energy Users sector and an understanding of technical or specialist knowledge of industrial energy efficient solutions is desirable
