What you'll do:
Working within a team of 5 you will be responsible for all things transport. Our transport team work to high standards for our customers to ensure expectations are met each and every time.

You will be a logical thinker who loves to solve difficult problems with effective solutions and a strong sense of urgency.

You are also a multi-tasker who works hard to get things done with mínimal fuss, taking ownership of your day to day.

Communication will be key in this role.

Purpose:
Positions holders are responsible for logistics planning, controlling, and implementing processes, for example related to global fleet management, utilisation, allocation including:

  • Planning & Control.
  • Movement & Storage.
  • General Logistics optimisation.
  • Developing transport schedules, methods, and routes.
  • Cargo planning, and strategies to improve depot/ logistics service centre operations.
  • Analysing and projecting transportation costs.
  • Coordinating customs clearances and permits.
  • Planning addresses capacity issues and production location decisions in support of business goals.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Administration of mobilisation and demobilisation / delivery of equipment and material to all new and existing project sites across defined territories, ensure submission of necessary documentation and update relevant systems and databases.
  • Ensure correct documentation of import and export processes for all materials and related equipment, liaising with appropriate authorities, as necessary.
  • Administration of required cargo/driver documentation and certifications.
  • Responsible for collection and delivery of equipment to and from customer sites.
  • Develop and maintain direct lines of communication with all transport suppliers to ensure all requirements are met.
  • Produce relevant performance monitoring data with regard to On Time in Full and transport recoveries.
  • Identify suitable equipment to fulfil contract requirements.
  • Ensure compliance to Aggreko procedures including ISO/ Internal/ External/ PLC Audits.
  • Always ensure strict adherence to Aggreko's QHSE policies and practices.

You'll have the following skills and experience:

  • University Degree/Specialised Diploma/Vocational Training.
  • Previous experience in a transport / equipment coordination role.
  • Acute attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, and sometimes stressful environment.
  • A Solutions driven problem solver.
  • Ability to selfdirect and selfmanage.
  • Positive in nature.
  • Ability to multitask essential.
  • Flexible.
  • Collaborative team player.
  • Possess tiptop organisational skills and a cando attitude.
  • Have amazing communication skills.
  • Experience in International Logistics is an advantage but not essential.
