Project and Safety Administrator

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Project and Safety Administrator to join our team at Placecrete. As a leading player in the construction industry, we specialize in concrete projects and are looking for a dedicated professional to support our operations.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage project documentation, including permits, drawings, specifications, and contracts, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Monitor project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and suppliers to track progress, resolve issues, and ensure effective communication.
- Implement and maintain safety protocols and procedures on construction sites, promoting a culture of safety among employees and contractors.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, identify hazards, and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.
- Coordinate safety training programs and provide ongoing support to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Develop and update safety policies and procedures in line with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain NHVR register
- Ensure appropriate PPE is provided to all staff
Requirements:
- Proven experience in project administration and construction safety, specifically within the concrete industry.
- Any construction industry experience beneficial
- Previous SAP experience desirable
- Understanding of WHS legislation and requirements
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Complying with the Integrated Risk Management System (IRMS) requirements including all Company Policies, Life Saving Rules, Directives, Work Methods, etc.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Proficient in using project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
