Reporting to the _Area Medical Director (APAC)_, the
Associate Medical Director role is critical to establishing educational excellence for healthcare providers, fostering and maintaining educational and research collaborations with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and key academic institutions and execution of clinical studies.

This is to build outstanding product awareness and advocacy in support of our scientific and business objectives.

For the right person this role can be based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane.


Responsibilities include (and not limited to):

  • Development of regional strategies that build and maintain interactions with Key Opinion Leaders, academic institutions as well as throughout the medical community
  • Clinical messaging for products in coordination with the commercial and Medical Affairs teams
  • Develop and strategise educational programs for key stakeholders such as healthcare providers, payers and regulators in accordance with corporate and regional business goals
  • Educate and coach the commercial team regarding clinical details of products and assist in the development of field activities
  • Initiation of internal and external research projects involving present and future product pipeline

Who we're looking for:


  • MD degree with strong science/clinical background; MD PhD preferred
  • 7+ years in the diagnostic industry, biotech, professional medical education, clinical research experience or equivalent experience in healthcare management
  • Proven experience identifying and engaging with highnetworth individuals and senior decisionmakers
  • Highlevel interpersonal skills including the ability to influence, build and grow relationships, both internal and external, across varied audiences
  • Exceptional written, communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate vision, mission and progress through effective storytelling and reporting
  • Patientcentric, customerfocused and empathetic
  • Proactive, resilient selfstarter who thrives in a fastpaced innovative environment
