JD Ross Energy are seeking a highly skilled Design Manager to be based in Sydney for our Australian based client that has a huge portfolio across a multitude of different sectors. If you are looking for a new challenge and want to be a part of one of the industry's top EPC companies, today.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide technical problem solving and support to the project

Overseeing the work of lead engineers, secondary designers to ensure project performance whilst being the technical interface between the PM's and Engineering department
:

Develop & maintain strong relationships wiht internal and external design resources, project management, construction, commissioning, and other stakeholders reliant on the design and engineering.

REQUIREMENTS:

-
Minimum 10 years industry experience in electricity industry Design Management:

-
Bachelor's Degree in electrical engineering
:

-
Professional Engineer status CPEng/NER and RPEQ preferred:

-
Seeks and builds constructive and influential business relationships across our client and other internal and external business partners

Exceptional team management and communication skills, ensuring quality of Design Management outcomes across assigned projects:

Exceptional team management and communication skills to ensure internal design resources are producing and checking discipline specific documents and drawings in alignment with project requirements:

Responsible for seamless design integration between multiple disciplines, including geographically diverse design resources

Previous experience/relationships within EPC's, Australian Power Transmission and Distribution Utilities is preferred.
