About the role

MDP-2 The Medical Practitioner is responsible for managing the care of all patients requiring the services of the department of Anaesthesia in consultation with the responsible Consultants, Nurses and Allied Health professionals. Contributes to the provision of an Anaesthesia Service within the objectives and philosophies of Royal Adelaide Hospital. The incumbent actively contributes to continuous quality improvement in the interests of effective and efficient patient care and with a commitment to clinical teaching.


MDP-3 The Senior Registrar contributes to the provision of safe, best practice clinical services to patients within the Anaesthesia Department of the Critical Care Directorate - Central Adelaide Local Heath Network. The Senior Registrar will contribute to the teaching and training in anaesthesia at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and in accordance with ANZCA professional TE 13 (Guidelines for the Provisional Fellowship Program) while achieving best practice in the design and delivery of clinical services to its patients.
