Assistant Compliance Officer, Ongoing, Parramatta location with hybrid working


An exciting opportunity has arisen for a customer-focused Assistant Compliance Officer within our audit teams to join the Business Taxes unit in our Taxes & Grants division within Revenue NSW.


In this role, you will undertake a range of desk and field audits, including more complex audits, to ensure compliance with legislation.

You will also participate as a member of a team undertaking a range of activities to collect/negotiate amounts owing and work on various compliance audits.


As part of a collaborative team,
you will also be required to attend our Parramatta office at least once a week or more when required.


To be successful in this role you will have the inherent ability to communicate effectively with a variety of customers, including their professional representatives, and solid negotiation skills along with:

  • Proven experience in interpreting and analysing financial records and data to identify relevant information and establish tax liabilities
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, writing clear correspondence and accurate reports
  • The ability to case manage workloads and achieve set targets
  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting (_preferable_)

Salary Grade 5/6, with the base salary for this role starting at $89707 base plus superannuation
