About the role


The role of Pharmacy Assistant works within the Mission and Mission in Action of HammondCare to ensure that provides technical support to the Pharmacy Department in purchasing, dispensing, production and distribution activities.


About you

  • Commitment to engage and align with HammondCare's Christian Mission, Motivation and Mission in Action.
  • Previous experience of working in a Pharmacy dispensary
  • Cert III in Hospital and Community Pharmacy (or qualifications deemed to be equivalent) desirable
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetical calculations
  • Strong administrative and basic computer skills.
  • Good understanding of customer service
  • Cultural awareness and/or experience working in a multicultural setting.
  • A current driver's licence and safe driving record. Willingness to travel between HammondCare's sites and services (as stipulated in the individual employment contract).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to recognize limits of practice and refer to registered pharmacist as appropriate
  • Empathy and patience.
