Head of Product


As the
Head of Product, you will lead the product strategy and execution for GenAI and play a pivotal role in shaping the success of this strategy and deliverables.

You will partner with senior stakeholders to identify opportunities for impactful and cutting-edge GenAI product innovation that will drive exceptional customer experiences.

You will collaborate with senior leaders and squads to ensure support for the product vision, roadmap, goals, plans and deliverables whilst leading squads to define and plan work, to achieve the prioritised use cases / business outcomes.

You will enjoy being a thought leader who is driven to stay across new technologies and market capabilities that will create future opportunities, driving the GenAI strategy forward.


About the role:


  • Define and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with the overall business objectives and values
  • Drive the vision and execution of their product roadmap and collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams to ensure the delivery of these initiatives; and support / facilitate conceptual highlevel solution design for new use cases
  • Drive engagement and collaboration to build a backlog and prioritise GenAI use cases for experimentation, pilot and scaled delivery
  • Lead the Product development lifecycle including design and prioritisation; build and launch of use cases and drive growth and adoption of use cases across the enterprise
  • Collaborate and communicate with stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of dependencies, deliverables, and issues as well as to measure and manage stakeholder expectations
  • Deliver exceptional customer outcomes by keeping at the forefront of the latest market and ecosystem capabilities ensuring a forwardlooking strategy for GenAI at NAB
  • Lead, coach & mentor a team of Product Owners to drive engagement and development

What you'll bring


You will have a successful track record of leading high performing Product teams within Technology Innovation and Data domains in a large complex organisation.

You will be passionate about all things GenAI, Digital and Data.

You will bring extensive experience in product ownership, including defining product strategies, creating roadmaps, use cases, and driving product development from conception to launch; coupled with this experience you will have:


  • Broad knowledge and understanding of GenAI capabilities
  • Ability to display exceptional leadership to drive the vision of a product
  • Exceptional problemsolving skills a strategic thinker who can creatively identify and address challenges and opportunities
  • Proven experience in agile ways of working and agile at scale approach
  • Demonstrated ability in leading the delivery of complex programs containing multiple streams, with multiple vendors
  • Extensive experience and knowledge of structured program and project management methodologies, inclusive of change management and technology delivery
  • Proven analytical skills and evidencebased decision making
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with crossfunctional teams
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in computer science, data science or related discipline preferred
