Description


You'll be part of an industry leading, award-winning marketing team responsible for the development and implementation of national campaigns across a range of media environments designed to attract future Defence capability.


Managing a Marketing Officer, you'll lead the development of the Tri Service Education and Pathways portfolio (ADFA, DUS, Gap Year) end-to-end recruitment communication strategy and tactics as well as lead a number of strategic marketing projects and delivery of advertising campaign material in support of recruiting needs.


You will:


  • Lead the development and implementation of marketing plans that will set the portfolio up to deliver transformational growth, aligned with DFR business priorities and recruiting plan.
  • Manage the delivery of marketing and digital projects, and content creation for integrated brand campaigns as well as tactical category or jobspecific executions.
  • Support the development and implementation of the overarching Tri Service brand strategy and provide assistance to the Tri Service Brand Lead with ongoing brand management.
  • Utilising your strength in building relationships, you will collaborate with internal and external, cross functional stakeholders to support the effective implementation of plans.
  • Work with renowned creative, digital, research and media agencies, manage large budgets and get the exciting opportunity to travel different parts of Australia as well as enjoy unique experiences working with serving defence personnel.
  • Manage a successful working relationship with the DFR advertising and media agency partners.
  • Coach and develop Marketing Officers driving organisational marketing capability and career progression.

Profile


To be successful in this role, you will have 3+ years as an experienced marketing professional and a Bachelors' degree in Marketing, Communications or related field is preferable.


Your background will demonstrate:


  • Proven experience in delivering insight led campaigns and digital content.
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills, with proven experience in engaging effectively with multiple stakeholders and thirdparty providers to deliver business outcomes.
  • Strong conceptual thinking, project management and analytical skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills with ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
  • Ability to negotiate at senior levels, demonstrating a capability to influence decisions.
  • Experience managing agency partners to deliver breakthrough communications and campaigns.
