THE ROLE
The paralegal support officer works across the business operations and litigation functions of the Statewide Child Protection Litigation Office.

Attention to detail and teamwork underpin success in this role as well as a demonstrated ability to communicate sensitively and effectively.

The role provides a wide range of support functions across day-to-day operations, with a focus on supporting the child protection litigation functions of the legal teams across metropolitan and regional court venues.


ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE

  • Under general direction, provide supportive assistance with office processes including data entry and management of documentation in LEX, TRIM and other IT systems, preparing matter management reports, processing and following up invoices.
  • Answer queries, provide timely advice and undertake general follow up action as required, including correctly redirecting incoming mail and queries.
  • Assist paralegals and solicitors with the allocation of cases on the daily court list.
