In the role of Manager (Passenger Transport, Systems Support) you will ensure the Translink Divisions specialist transport business ICT systems operate in accordance with business expectations and contractual obligations.

You will also provide system enhancements and operational support activities including providing specialist technical advice.

Accountabilities include:

Lead and manage the effective operation of Translink Divisions Passenger Transport ICT systems, including the implementation of critical software upgrades and enhancements, to ensure maximum system availability and effective integration of systems across Translink.
Lead, manage and direct staff of the Passenger Transport Systems Support team and coordinate system support resourcing.
Manage and monitor established ICT contracts to ensure the delivery of outcomes in line with contract objectives, government and customer requirements whilst maintaining strong business relationships with stakeholders and suppliers including effectively managing contract enquiries, issues, disputes, variations, risks and undertaking negotiations with suppliers as required.
Ensure the best practises for ICT security response, monitoring and auditing are undertaken regularly across all systems.
Manage the resolution of project issues in conjunction with project management teams, including the analysis and recommendation of options to project stakeholders and implementation of resolution strategies once agreed.
Evaluate and provide specialist advice on strategic ICT goals, planning and policies.
Maintain effective relationships with other Translink and TMR stakeholder groups, business partners and service operators.
Leadership and people management including the management of recruitment, performance, development, team communication, and ensuring a safe and diverse work environment.
Management functions including business planning, financial management, governance and other responsibilities as legislated in the Public Service Act 2008 to ensure delivery of a responsive, effective and efficient services to the community and the Government.
Other accountabilities and tasks as reasonably directed.
