Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $89,707 to $98,982 plus super and leave loading


Property & Development NSW (PDNSW) is a Division within HDP (Homes, Property and Development) within the Department of Planning and Environment (DPE).

PDNSW is responsible for the management and delivery of large scale or complex real estate projects, programs, transactions, workplace strategy, design and delivery, and manages a significant proportion of the NSW Government's significant property portfolio.


About the role

PDNSW is seeking to appoint a Project Support Officer - Stakeholder Engagement to support a range of project implementation, stakeholder engagement, communication and administrative activities.

The Project Support Officer will assist with client engagement activities that are central to PDNSW's client relationship management (CRM) and stakeholder engagement activities as part of the delivery of PDNSW projects.

The role entails effectively supporting multiple projects in a fast paced and politically sensitive environment.


About you
We are looking for a highly organised and motivated individual.

You will possess strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively to build effective long-term relationships with internal and external stakeholders.


Your background and experience within the communications and engagement space will be highly desirable as you will work on projects that will include preparing professional powerpoint presentations and engagement collateral, managing relevant data, drafting content and creating e-newsletters.


Key accountabilities will include:


  • Assist the Senior Manager, Engagement to prepare and implement client relationship practices and undertake tasks to ensure agreed client and stakeholder engagement outcomes are achieved.
  • Provide day to day operational support to PDNSW business units related to stakeholder engagement projects and embed the client relationship framework by drawing on stakeholder engagement best practice, including stakeholder mapping and the monitoring, reporting and evaluation of key actions and milestones.
  • Monitor, update, and review collateral and maintain records related to client and stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Undertake basic research and analysis that contribute to the preparation of project updates and supports informed decision making and planning for client services and stakeholder engagement. Support and review client and stakeholder engagement using survey and evaluation tools to measure service standards and inform opportunities for continuous improvement.
