Job Description:


The Swissotel Sydney has an opportunity for a luxury-minded Hotel professional to lead the team as General Manager and champion the Swissotel brand.

As General Manager, you will showcase your inspiring leadership skills, along with your strategic vision; to drive an engaged team, provide a luxe guest experience and maximise operating results.


This is a fabulous opportunity for a General Manager with previous luxury experience to autonomously lead and drive success across the 5-star Hotel.


We are looking for a leader who will embody the Swiss philosophy - that health and happiness go hand in hand - and drive sustainability which is at the core of our philosophy; from where we buy our produce and how we treat our colleagues, to our behind-the-scenes energy-saving measures.


As General Manager you will be responsible for:

  • leading the overall management and strategic direction of the Swissotel Sydney
- supporting all departments in the achievement of operational targets
- maximise the property in terms of profit and management of financials
- champion the Swissotel brand and employee engagement, promoting a sustainable collaborative and inclusive environment for all our Heartists


Qualifications:

A qualification in hotel management, hospitality management, commerce or business administration would be highly regarded.

About you

  • Previous experience as a General Manager, preferably with large Food and Beverage and Conference and Events facilities
  • Demonstrated success in driving the commercial performance of the business and delivering on KPIs
  • Passionate to develop self and others
  • Clear communication, creating impactful relationships with your team
  • A proven leader with a strategic vision
  • Fosters a positive owner relationships while and maximising performance
