What does the job look like?

The Safety & Compliance Manager is ultimately responsible for the safety and compliance of Warehousing and Transport operations for our new, state-of-the-art facility in Maddington.

It is an exciting time to be joining a business that services major customers utilising modern warehouse technology, temperature-controlled storage with additional space to facilitate growth for the future.

Through frontline engagement with the various teams, you will be well positioned to influence behaviours and drive a culture of safety excellence across the operations.

Empowered to develop initiatives and programs that provide continual improvement to the safe and compliant operations, you will rely on your ability to engage, train and develop managers and operational teams to understand the important role they play.

Key areas:

Promoting a safetyfirst culture, ensuring commitment to Safety, COR and Quality requirements at all times
Coach and influence leadership team to set and enforce safety standards
Provision of training and guidance through frontline engagement with workforce
Develop and implement safety protocols and process improvements to drive Vision Zero goal
Participate in investigations to identify the root cause and recommend corrective actions
Provide management updates on performance against safety metrics and oversee compliance framework
Participate in site risk management and road safety compliance activities

Are you the one?

The Safety and Compliance Manager is an integral role driving the BevChain Vision Zero Safety culture.

An ideal role for a current manager within the industry, or someone that has strong experience coordinating safety activities in a complex operational environment.

You can demonstrate:

Safety qualifications with comprehensive understanding of current legislation
Oversee framework of COR, mass management and safety compliance within supply chain
Experience in incident investigation and risk management would be advantageous
Strong computer literacy skills, with exposure to auditing tools
Ability to engage and influence behaviour
