The Role
Our client is looking for an experienced purchasing officer to join their team based in Cannon Hill.


Responsibilities would include

  • Liaising with suppliers / subcontractors and production staff to ensure production goods are delivered on time
  • Maintain catalogues, and supplier records
  • Build strong working relationships with both key internal and external stakeholders
  • Daily purchasing activities including the creation and expediting of purchase orders
  • Identify and mitigate risk relating to quality, cost, delivery and supply of purchases, escalating as required
  • Compliance with purchasing policies and procedures, implementing corrective actions

Skills/Experience

  • Excellent judgement and decision making skills
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Experience in a similar role highly regarded
