Description

Sanitarium is a progressive and dynamic business that is Australian owned and produces Australia's leading breakfast products - Up & Go, So Good, and Australia's favourite breakfast Weet-Bix.

We are currently searching for an experienced, dynamic and hands on Team Leader with strong people management, rostering experience and a focus on their team working safely and in unity.

Waste management experience is highly regarded but not essential.

You will be responsible for**- Daily management and coordination of tasks

Organising and ensuring plans are in place for the team to action and clearly communicating what is required for the day.
Rostering of the team and scheduling of external services
Leading by example and assisting the team in all tasks
Providing excellent customer service and willingness to support internal and external stakeholders/contractors
Ensuring the waste team is working efficiently and safely at all times.

About you

You will have a background in maintenance or waste management and be a natural leader who is capable of jumping in and lending a hand.

A positive attitude and drive to succeed and mentor your team to be their best
A valid Forklift licence
Supporting the team to be a cohesive unit and working safely
Ability to identify any issues and to strategically deliver solutions
Be honest, have integrity and reliability.
Pollution incident response experience including Hazmat is highly regarded
WHS knowledge highly regarded
