About the role

This exciting opportunity is available to join the Deposits Tribe as a Program Manager.


The purpose of the Deposits Tribe is to provide products that are simple, easy to use and enable our customers to bank with confidence.

This is through the design, manufacture and management of a simple range of savings & transaction products to bring the customer proposition to life for our Retail & Business customers.

As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for the successful execution of a key program for the Deposits team, i.e.

a debit card migration and decommissioning program that will involve both personal and business bank cards.

You will have an execution mindset and be focused on ensuring the program run to required timeframes whilst maintaining a high level of detail and liaise widely across the bank to ensure the program meets internal project and change governance requirements.

Effective stakeholder management will be crucial in your role.


Role Location: 833 Collins St, Docklands, Victoria 3008, Australia


Role Type: 18-month Fixed-term. Full-time.

  • You will have project delivery experience including the ability to strategise, implement and maintain program initiatives that deliver on time and on budget with different project methodologies (Agile or waterfall).

You will be an expert at eliciting, managing requirements, developing protocol to evaluate and measure performance of a cross functional team and be an expert in change transition in a complex and challenging business environment.

You will have strong experience in project administration/ co-ordination and/or forecasting, as well as reporting and management of project progress and performance (including financials and resource management).

As a project leader, you will assist the Product Owner in managing the project team as well as wider working groups as required, and drive a culture of fun and excellence.


Expert communication skills including:
documentation, facilitation, and management skills to develop training materials, document procedure guides, update collateral and write communications.

Comprehensive understanding of a range of problem-solving techniques with an ability to multi-task and be highly adaptable to change and ambiguity.

Excellent stakeholder management skills, with strong influencing and relationship building ability to ensure business and customer impacts have been fully considered.

An intense passion and curiosity for customers, their needs and wants, putting them at the center of everything you do.

Prior experience in card related projects is preferrable.
