    Description

    About the role:

    In this role you will be required to:

  • Unload bulk tankers to tank transfers
  • Load vacuum blending tanks
  • Load ISO tanks and wash out
  • Operate drum shredders and bulk solids systems
  • Dehead plastic IBC units
  • Complete general housekeeping and forklift duties

    • The hours of work for this position are on a rotating roster, Monday to Friday day - 6am-2pm and then a 10:00am to 6:00pm.

    Overtime shifts on Saturday may also be available.

    About you:

  • Previous experience working in an operations role, ideally in the waste treatment or hazardous chemical industry
  • Forklift licence (essential)
  • Strong safety focus
  • Good mechanical aptitude
  • A self-starter, who can work autonomously
  • Great attention to detail and process troubleshooting/diagnostic abilities
  • Basic computer skills ideally with an understanding of Word and Excel
