The Opportunity:
We are currently looking for a Trainer and Assessor to join our Learning and Development Team.
Arc is dedicated to delivering both nationally accredited and non-accredited training to people who work on the Arc Infrastructure Network.
Whilst the vast majority of training is delivered at our Kewdale Training Centre, there are occasions where you will be required to deliver training in our WA regional locations.
The Trainer and Assessor role ensures that Arc Infrastructure operational employees and contractors are equipped with the appropriate skills to perform their roles in a safe and efficient manner, whilst ensuring we meet our Rail Safety compliance obligations.
The Role:
- Deliver inhouse Nationally Accredited and inhouse Safeworking training
- Design and build content that meets identified learning outcomes using adult learning principles
- Assess employees against role based training requirements
- Maintain accurate records of attendance and assessment, and other administrative tasks
- Adhere to all requirements of our RTO function, including ongoing development
About You
- Considerable technical knowledge and experience in below rail infrastructure and/or Certificate II and/or III in Rail Infrastructure (essential)
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desirable)
- Proven ability to deliver programs in classroom settings to diverse groups of people
- WA "C Class" driver's licence
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Good time management skills
- Ability to work autonomously or collaboratively in a team
