We are seeking appropriately qualified and experienced people to join our expanding team of Youth Workers (residential) working in our Transitional High Needs Placements in Perth Metro.

The position is in a live-in staff rostered home working within a therapeutic model of care.

We look for the following attributes:

  • Available to work a 24/7 rotating roster which may include days, evenings, sleepovers and weekends.
  • An understanding of trauma informed therapeutic care to assist in deescalating and responding to critical incidents with the young person.
  • Have experience in dealing with children and Young people with 'complex needs and behaviours' and the ability to therapeutically manage these behaviours.
  • Must have prior experience in working with vulnerable children and young people of various ages from yrs
  • Full, clean open Australian driver's license (specific to the state) and access to a fully insured car is also an essential requirement
  • Must have a current 'paid employment' Working With Children card for WA
  • Also have a current 'First Aid' certificate
  • Statutory Checks will be completed on all new staff as part of our recruitment process
