What you will enjoy about this role:
- Being responsible for working on technical claims as well as managing IDR claims within commercial property
- Being the technical expert in the team and providing support to less experienced team members, coaching them through the process
- Managing a smaller portfolio due to the complexity of claims
- Carrying out team audits and file reviews
- Liaising with clients and brokers, explaining policy wording and technical information regarding the claim
- Advising brokers/clients of denials, providing clear written communication to them
- Work on the claims manual with the Manager and also the audit framework
What you will bring to the role:
- Experience in commercial property claims
- Experience in dealing with disputed claims and managing them to a positive outcome
- Providing support to more junior team members to advance their skills
- Outstanding communication, written and verbal
- Advanced technical claims experience
- Strong communication with an objective mindset, being solutions and factfocused
