The right person for this job will demonstrate the following competencies:

  • bring criminal litigation experience and the ability to work effectively as an advocate in the Magistrates and/or higher courts, manage and motivate legal and support staff including managing performance and identifying professional development opportunities (Results)
  • Leads strategically lead or contribute to organisational initiatives and reviews aimed at improving outcomes, and consult, negotiate and communicate to build productive partnerships with a range of stakeholders (Vision)
  • Fosters healthy and inclusive workplaces report on performance data and manage the operations of the work unit and contribute to statewide initiatives and reviews (Accountability)
  • Pursues continuous growth commitment to professional and ethical standards (Accountability)

Mandatory Qualifications, Conditions and Requirements:

You will be admitted as a Legal Practitioner in a State or Territory of Australia (please indicate date of admission).Applications to remain current for 12 months.
