Overview:
The purpose of the Shoot Assistant is to work closely with our Creative Director, photographer and other people involved in Beginning Boutique's photoshoots, which typically includes the models, agencies, hairstylists and make-up artists.
You will assist in styling Beginning Boutique's product in line with current trends and as the assistant, you will handle the scheduling side of all shoots for Beginning Boutique.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for shoot studio prep, organisation and maintenance including product prep, studio set ups and pack down
- Dressing the model on shoots
- Assist with styling ecomm and lookbook shoots
- Organising logistics for onsite and offsite (what equipment is needed etc)
- Booking all models and make up artists for ecomm and lookbook shoots
- Build relationships with Suppliers (Models, MUA's, Venues etc)
- Create moodboards for upcoming shoots
- Forward planning for future shoots
- Research for lookbook/shoot locations
- Transferring of product to and from warehouse around shoot days
- Managing, organising, cleaning and prepping shootroom
- Negotiate terms on contracts with Suppliers
- Assuring all styling items are on trend and in stock and styling pieces are regularly updated
- Purchasing of any props
- For approved locations, obtain permission from the location owner and ensure all requirements are met
- Schedule, finalise and confirm all shoot details with relevant stakeholders well in advance
- Maintain constant communication with all key stakeholders
Requirements:
- Year 12 Graduate
- Excellent communication skills
- A keen eye for fashion and how to style
- An understanding of eCommerce styling and product development
- A strong understanding of our customer and what she loves
- Highly organised
- Attention to detail
- Problem solving skills
- Strong communication skills
- Driver's licence required
- Adobe Suite experience preferred by not essential
- Highly motivated self starter
- Desire to achieve
