The opportunity

The opportunity


The Data Quality Analyst role is to perform data profiling, analysis and build out capability to ensure timely, accurate and complete reporting of data quality measurements to drive business outcomes.

You will be abreast of developments and trends in data quality analysis. Help the team implement initiates to improve business performance.

Key Responsibilities include

  • Establish and educate on the right approaches to Data Quality to drive business outcomes
  • Facilitate resolution of identified data issues, support the business in root cause analysis and follow standard data quality practice
  • Perform build out of data quality reporting capabilities (e.g. Data Quality Dashboards) using reporting tools such as Power BI
  • Perform statistical tests on large datasets to determine data quality and integrity
  • Evaluate system performance and design, as well as its effect on data quality
Your story so far


To be successful in this role, you will have strong quantitative, analytical, and technical skills with hands on experience in conducting data quality assessments.

Experience in data profiling to understand the current state of data, its quality in the source system and identify gaps or missing data, collect statistics, and derive data quality metrics.

Other qualities

  • Strong SQL skills (MS SQL Server experience preferred)
  • Data visualisation experience (PowerBI preferred)
  • Exposure to ETL technologies (Microsoft stack preferred e.g. SSIS)
  • Data warehouse experience
  • Demonstrated ability to liaise with technical and nontechnical staff to achieve results
