With an ever-growing network of over 250 insurance advice practices across 150 locations across Australia and New Zealand, our client requires a Regional Operations Assistant who will report directly to the General Manager of Operations.
It will incorporate relationship management of corporate authorised representatives and insurers, along with managing the office administration, authorised representative administration and compliance functions of the Region.
Responsibilities will include:
- Administration of Corporate Authorised Rep onboarding, maintenance & termination in accordance with policy and procedure and in consultation with Regional GM.
- Participate in & undertake national & regional based projects and initiatives as directed by Regional GM from time to time, ensuring these are completed within policy & procedures, project scope & timeframe.
- Complete ongoing Regional Compliance administration and audit activities in accordance with policy and procedure.
- Preparation of reports for Regional GM including in advance of Authorised Representative and Insurer visits in accordance with company policy and procedure and /or as directed by Regional GM from time to time;
- Assisting General Manager, Education, and Training with administration & coordination of Regional education & training events
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Financial Services Industry, Insurance and/or Broking experience preferred, along with an understanding of insurance legislation
- Tier 2 Insurance will be highly regarded
- Commitment to undertake further Insurance studies (Tier 1 & 2)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suites
- Excellent problem solving ability
- High organisational skills and attention to detail in order to deliver projects and meet deadlines
- Ability to show initiative and think outside the square
- Great communication skills and a positive attitude
- The ability to work as part of a team and communicate cooperatively with team members.
