Our client is one of Australia and New Zealand's largest and most respected General Insurance businesses.


With an ever-growing network of over 250 insurance advice practices across 150 locations across Australia and New Zealand, our client requires a Regional Operations Assistant who will report directly to the General Manager of Operations.

The role of the Regional Operations Assistant is multi-faceted.

It will incorporate relationship management of corporate authorised representatives and insurers, along with managing the office administration, authorised representative administration and compliance functions of the Region.


Responsibilities will include:


  • Administration of Corporate Authorised Rep onboarding, maintenance & termination in accordance with policy and procedure and in consultation with Regional GM.
  • Participate in & undertake national & regional based projects and initiatives as directed by Regional GM from time to time, ensuring these are completed within policy & procedures, project scope & timeframe.
  • Complete ongoing Regional Compliance administration and audit activities in accordance with policy and procedure.
  • Preparation of reports for Regional GM including in advance of Authorised Representative and Insurer visits in accordance with company policy and procedure and /or as directed by Regional GM from time to time;
  • Assisting General Manager, Education, and Training with administration & coordination of Regional education & training events

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Financial Services Industry, Insurance and/or Broking experience preferred, along with an understanding of insurance legislation
  • Tier 2 Insurance will be highly regarded
  • Commitment to undertake further Insurance studies (Tier 1 & 2)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suites
  • Excellent problem solving ability
  • High organisational skills and attention to detail in order to deliver projects and meet deadlines
  • Ability to show initiative and think outside the square
  • Great communication skills and a positive attitude
  • The ability to work as part of a team and communicate cooperatively with team members.
