About the Role
They are currently seeking an experienced Communications Manager to join their growing team in Rozelle. This is an estimated 3 month assignment with a potential to extend.

Reporting to the Associate Director, Marketing and Communications, you will be required to plan and deliver communications strategies to support achievement of the organisations priorities and program objectives, including developing and implementing campaigns to inform and influence internal, external and community stakeholders and uphold the organisations reputation among key stakeholders

As the Communications Manager you will be responsible for, however, not limited to the following

  • Develop both proactive and responsive communication and engagement strategies to support program objectives, initiatives and projects
  • Design, implement and coordinate multifaceted internal and external communication and engagement activities, to support operational and corporate priorities and to communicate key messages relating to activities and initiatives
  • Deliver communication and engagement campaigns, including logistics, budgets, resources, project plans, and reporting to enable timely and effective communication of information internally and externally
  • Provide input to the development of internal communication and engagement plans to build workforce unity, foster information sharing, for internal and corporate programs
  • Identify and escalate emerging and sensitive communication issues proactively and provide operational advice to the executives
  • Create, monitor and update a broad range of collateral and prepare information to keep key internal and external stakeholders up to date with developments and provide comprehensive information on the organisations programs

About You

  • Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in relevant fields
  • Demonstrated experience in Media Management, Marketing or Communications
  • Strong experience in management of complex communications and engagement initiatives
  • Thorough knowledge of the Government and Legislative processes
  • Impeccable interpersonal skills demonstrating effective stakeholder engagement experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Superior organisational skills and ability to multitask and prioritise conflicting deadlines
  • Solid analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Strong MS Office skills along with technical web development skills
  • Fully COVID vaccinated or medically exempt
  • Willingness to undergo a National Police Check
  • Ability to commence and commit to the duration of the assignment
