    About the company
    The client is a boutique Engineering Consultancy based in the Sydney CBD Fringe. It provides a range of Structural Design Engineering services.

    It has a healthy project pipeline and a supportive, collaborative team that can provide career training and will invest in your personal growth. Working across Residential, Commercial, Health, Aged-Care and Educatiuon projects.

    It has a culture to be proud of, where everyone has a voice, although a professional environment, the culture is one akin to a family, where there are no egos and everyone gets on well with each other.

    About the role
    This is a fantastic opportunity with a great Engineering Consultancy, due to growth we are seeking Senior Structural Design Engineers who has worked in a similar Engineering Consultancy role.

    The projects will be challenging, typically medium and high-rise projects in the Residential, Commercial, Education, Health and Aged-Care sectors. We are looking for someone who has worked on projects at least mid-rise in scale and been involved in site inspections on these projects.

    The company has a supportive, family styled and led culture, mentoring and training support is provided to everyone in the company.

    About the candidate

    Ideally you will have:

    • A minimum of 5+ years of practical Structural Engineering experience
    • Signifcant experience gained working in Australia
    • Ideally experience working on the design of a variety of buildings and shoring, footings etc.
    • Attended site inspections for mid-sized buildings and upwards
    • Strong work ethic
    • Team player, adaptable and flexible
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Excellent knowledge of Australian Standards & Council design standards
    • Demonstrated understanding of Engineering codes, construction standards, specs, procedures and construction techniques and materials
