UntingCare is seeking a.6 FTE Chaplain for The Wesley Hospital to deliver spiritual & pastoral care, caring for the emotional, spiritual and religious needs of staff, patients, and their families.

This is a placement for the exercise of ministry within the Uniting Church in Australia, Queensland.

Within the ministry of the whole Church, Jesus Christ calls men and women to proclaim the gospel in word and deed through a call to ministry.

This calling is exercised in a variety of ways, including the proclamation of the Word of God in word and deed; the participation in the mission of God; the building up of the people of God in love and care; and the service of Christ in the world.

The Church understands the healing of people in body, mind and spirit to be the work of God in the world.

Placement Purpose:

The purpose of this placement is to provide and ensure chaplaincy services are ministries of compassion - caring for the emotional, spiritual and religious needs of staff, patients and their families.
