Your role
Cooma Queanbeyan Community Corrections is a hub location. This role will be based in Queanbeyan with a talent pool being established for the Queanbeyan & Cooma locations.

As an administration assistant you are responsible for administrative and reception services to internal and external clients to support the delivery of quality services for the organisation.

You will also undertake a range of administrative support services relating to the business, including non-complex client matters, word processing, data entry, preparing correspondence, taking minutes, maintaining electronic and file records and support with meetings and events.

What you'll do


To be successful for this role, you will always display integrity, and be a true team player with excellent communication and organisational skills.

You will always maintain confidentiality whilst utilising your proven experience to meet the demands of this role effectively.

Resilience, initiative, high attention to detail and accuracy along with the ability to work under pressure are the key attributes to succeed in this fast-paced role.

What we're looking for someone who:

  • Have previous experience across administration
  • Enjoys working in a fastpaced environment
  • Has strong communication and collaborative working skills
  • Displays excellent customer service and professionalism
  • Adaptable across a range of administrative duties
  • Can demonstrate a high level of computer skills including Microsoft Office suite
