APG is a national employer of choice supplying a flexible workforce to industries who promote safety and wellbeing as priorities.

Our client is a 150 Hectare Free Range Egg Farm.

The two required Farm Hands for this site will be responsible for the care and maintenance of laying hens used as part of an egg producing poultry farm.

Hours will be 7am to 3pm Monday to Friday, with some occasional overtime to work until 4pm when required. You will be working 10-day fortnights (working every second weekend) if you are available. The pay rate for these roles is $28.26 per hour.

Main responsibilities will be:

Rotating between general Farmhand and Egg Collection Duties
Feeding and caring for hens
Monitoring hen behavior
Collecting eggs
Evaluating the quality of the eggs produced by the flock
Cleaning and repairing sheds

To be successful for this role you must have:

A good work ethic, not afraid to get your hands dirty
Availability for the hours required
The ability to work independently, with mínimal supervision
No experience is required
