About the role

  • Permanent parttime (shifts listed below)
  • Support the delivery of programs that fulfil the individual needs of our residents

Shifts;

Week 1

  • Monday 10:00 15:30
  • Tuesday 10:00 15:30
  • Wednesday 10:00 15:30
  • Thursday 13:00 18:00
  • Friday 13:30 18:00

Week 2

  • Monday 10:00 15:30
  • Tuesday 10:00 15:30
  • Wednesday 10:00 15:30
  • Thursday 13:00 18:00
  • Friday 13:30 18:00
Under the guidance of the Wellbeing Consultant, the Lifestyle Support staff member assist residents to participate in their Lifestyle and Wellbeing program, implements and assists in evaluating lifestyle programs while being sensitive to resident needs consistent with our Values and in line with our Mind, Body, Spirit ethos


To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience in participating in and arranging recreational and leisure activities
  • A genuine passion for enhancing the wellbeing of our residents
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds
  • An enthusiastic and motivated approach with a willingness to learn
  • Great time management and organisational skills

  • To work for Eldercare, you are required to have a police clearance valid for working in aged care (vulnerable) and clearance needs to be less than 12 months since date of issue._
  • As per Eldercare's Employee Immunisation Policy, all Eldercare employees are required to:_
- _Be vaccinated against seasonal influenza by no later than 1 June each year _
- _Be vaccinated against COVID-19 as per current ATAGI guidelines_
