What we are looking for:

Demonstrated ability to lead the development and successful implementation of initiatives and complex projects including demonstrating advanced problem solving and analytical skills, planning, and resources management to deliver business improvements
Superior interpersonal and communication skills and ability to develop collaborative and trusted working relationships, particularly at the senior and executive levels with internal and external stakeholders
Lead and drive the identification and resolution of issues including providing strategic, innovative, and practical advice to complex issues often of a political, commercial and/or sensitive nature
Deep understanding of the political, human resources and financial pressures and constraints that impact service delivery within a procurement and whole of Government environment and the capacity to recommend courses of action which achieve optimal outcomes within those constraints and deliver agreed outcomes to clients.
High level strategic leadership experience in governance, risk and compliance functions in large and/or complex organisations, preferably within a procurement framework.
Demonstrated high level human resource management experience to drive a positive team culture including the provision of coaching, mentoring and/or performance feedback to positively influence and motivate others.
