About the Role


We have an opportunity for an experienced HR Business Partner to join our growing dedicated team, based at our office in Penrith.

As a role model of our values and behaviours, you will partner with our key leaders in the business on all aspects of the employment life cycle to provide HR advice and support, define people prioritises, implement effective people initiatives and drive change and capability development at all levels to meet business objectives.

Reporting to the Group HR Manager, you have a track record of building solid, trusting and long term business relationships with our internal and external stakeholders.


Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Undertake the full range of HR functions and provide support and advice to the business
  • Recommend, initiate and implement strategies to enhance Panthers' people management capabilities and the employee experience
  • Lead and assisting with various critical HR and business projects
  • Provide training and development, coaching and support to the management and supervisory teams regarding Industrial Relations matters, Panthers Enterprise Agreement and other relevant Award and legislative matters.
  • Contribute to the development, implementation and monitoring of policies and procedures based on relevant legislation and contemporary HR management practices
  • Support and where required lead the HR Team to meet business objectives and deliver on the operational needs of our business
  • Drive a meticulous customer service focus with a solid commitment to strategically getting things done both at the departmental level and organisational level.

Experience Required

  • At least 25 years in a HR Business Partner for a mediumsized and complex organisation.
  • Experience and knowledge with Enterprise Agreement, Award and Legislation Interpretation including workplace investigations and disciplinary matters.
  • Hospitality industry experience would be advantageous
  • Exposure to all HR specialties and the ability to independently advise across a range of areas including performance management, remuneration and benefits, talent development, recruitment, HR policies and Workers Compensation.
  • Strong knowledge of HR systems, strong computer skills and thorough admin practices
  • Project and system implementation experience and customisation experience.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, Industrial Relations or similar;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
