Join Our Innovative Team at Revenue NSW
We are seeking talented designers to collaborate with us in crafting user-friendly digital products while adhering to design principles. You will be responsible for working with other designers and stakeholders to tackle design challenges.

In addition, you will assist the design governance team by leading design chapter meetings, ensuring conformity, collaborating with teams, addressing design concerns, proposing solutions, and keeping up with the latest industry developments.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

  • Research and understand user needs, including those with disabilities.
  • Ensure designs meet accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1)
  • Create user personas and journey maps.
  • Sketch, wireframe, and prototype designs
  • Design highfidelity mockups and interactive prototypes
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
  • Test designs with users and gather feedback.
  • Create design specifications and documentation.
  • Participate in agile development processes.
  • Continuously iterate on designs based on feedback and requirements.
  • Support design governance team through meetings and staying uptodate with industry trends.

To be successful in this role, you will need the following abilities:

  • Create accessible designs for all users, including those with disabilities.
  • Collaborate with team members such as developers, product managers, solution designers and SMEs.
  • Conduct user research, brainstorm ideas, produce mockups, and use design systems to manage projects from start to finish. Lead workshops, engage stakeholders, and map out user journeys.
  • Experience in design tools like Figma and Miro.
  • Stay up to date with the latest accessibility standards, such as WCAG 2.
  • Communicate effectively and thrive in a fastpaced environment.
  • Show enthusiasm, passion, openmindedness, and willingness to learn new things.
  • Familiarity with design governance and systems is a plus, but not required.
