Description

Synergia One are looking for casual Fitters/Fitters and Turners. This position currently offers casual hours between Monday to Friday with the potential for weekend work. Our workshop is located in Brendale, Queensland.

Job Responsibilities:

Reviewing drawings and specifications to determine what material and equipment are needed
Operating Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines
Drilling, machining and milling
Configuring and finetuning metalworking machinery
Manually creating fitting components
Fitting and assembling metal parts and tools
Following health and safety requirements
Checking the quality of finished products

About you:

Technical aptitude and knowledge of engineering science
Attention to detail
Able to interpret plans and blueprints
Comfortable using required machinery and tools
Safetyconscious
Comfortable wearing protective gear and working in a noisy environment
Potential to work overtime as needed
Preferable Forklift Licence and Working at Heights.

QUALIFICATION AND LICENSES REQUIRED

Must hold a Queensland Manual Drivers Licence and have their own mode of transport.
Construction White Card.
Certificate 3 in Engineering
Fabrication or equivalent
