About us:


The Children's Court of Victoria (ChCV) has jurisdiction under the Children, Youth and Families Act 2005 to hear cases involving children and young people up to the age of 18 years, and in some cases up to 19 years.

It has a Family Division and a Criminal Division and it sits at locations throughout metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria.


About the role:

The ChCV In-Court Registrar is responsible for providing dedicated, quality judicial support to judicial officers.


In-Court Registrars are required to perform a wide range of administrative tasks, including in court duties, client contact enquiries and back of office administrative responsibilities.


The In-Court Registrar is required to facilitate, and manage courtroom processes and provide in court support to Judicial Officers, along with assisting in the preparation of court files, proactive file management and processing files and documents in accordance with the relevant procedures, practices and legislation.
