$71K - $98K per annum plus 15.4% superannuation (base of
APS 4 to top of
APS 6 scale)

They conduct a full range of security functions, including contemporary and security intelligence, cyber security, and actions that enable offensive operations in the best interests of Australia.

The have a vacancy at each of the
APS 4,
APS 5, and
APS 6 levels for the role of Work Health and Safety Officers.

The Work Health and Safety team provides information and implements programs and initiatives to drive the safety and wellbeing of staff.

They provide advice and guidance on general WHS and legislative matters, oversee compliance, due diligence and assurance activities, and manage policy and procedures.

Duties:

Preparation of WHS communication materials and maintenance of the Intranet Page
Establishing and overseeing the operation of corporate health and wellbeing programs
Providing secretariat support for the three WHS Committees who meet quarterly
Management and administrative support for the First Aid Officer Network and Health and Safety Representatives Network
With support from team members, development and drafting of WHS policies, procedures and guidance material
Ensuring appropriate storage of WHS records
Accurate data entry and high attention to detail
Contribute to process improvement initiatives
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
