Pay Rate:
$ $59.82 per hour + super


Key accountabilities

  • Provide a range of data reporting and project officer support services to meet the business needs of the team/unit.
  • Respond to and resolve enquiries and issues to ensure the provision of accurate information, and the timely and effective resolution of issues.
  • Manage records and databases, complying with administrative systems, processes and policies, to ensure that all information is accurate, stored correctly and accessible.
  • Assist the project team to complete tasks and implement project plans to ensure agreed outcomes are achieved.
  • Communicate with relevant stakeholders to validate data inputs, and advise on reporting issues.
  • Preparing project/program reports, briefings and other written material.

Key skills and experience

  • Understanding of environmental issues, in relation to waste management and resource recovery and the principles of ecologically sustainable development.
  • Understanding of NSW government policy as it relates to waste management and resource recovery.
  • Project management skills and experience in the delivery of projects to achieve behaviour change and improve waste management and resource recovery practice.
  • Experience in the preparation of end of month financial reporting and trend analysis (including accruals/reconciliations etc)
  • Knowledge of the POEO (Waste) Reg or Waste Industry
